Sisters in Grace along with the Hope & Cope Cancer Support Group at Oakwood has an on going mission “Baskets of Hope & Love.” These baskets are filled with an assortment of items and given to cancer patients and their families to minister and assist them as they cope with this disease and it's treatment. Donations may be left at the Women’s Ministry table in the foyer. Tissues, hard candy, bottled water, individual pouches of kool-aid, non-perishable snacks, calendars, journals, devotionals, magazines, books, disposable cameras, rolls of quarters for vending machines, gas cards, gift cards for groceries or restaurants, scarves, hats, lotions, movie tickets, meal tickets from hospital cafeterias, tea bags, hand sanitizers, cozy socks, soft throws/blankets, etc. We want to hear from you! Sign up for Women of Faith 2010 begins May 2. This year's conference will be September 24-25, at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA. The total cost is $115 which includes Friday and Saturday conference ticket, lunch both days and Friday night hotel stay. Payment is due in full by June 27.
