The goal of the worship ministry is to help people connect with God, both corporately and individually. Much of the ministry is focused on corporate worship, and much of that focus involves music.
The worship ministry has many opportunities for those interested in music and worship.

Oakwood’s Worship Choir is a driving force in Sunday’s worship services. If you are interested in singing with us, then all you need to do is show up at a rehearsal. No audition is necessary to join. The choir sings in both services on most Sundays. You are encouraged to sing in both services, depending on your schedule. The choir leaves the loft usually 15-20 minutes into the service, allowing you to find a seat in the worship center or go on to your Sunday Life Group. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the choir room. |

Oakwood wants to give people an opportunity to use the gifts that God has given them. If you are gifted in singing and want to use your God-given talent in a service, then e-mail us and let us know. An audition will be scheduled in the near future. |
