It is our firm belief at Oakwood that life change happens best in community. When people gather in groups with a shared mission to pursue God, to love one another, and serve others – God will show-up and do amazing things!

Oakwood's Life Group ministry offers a variety of groups. Whether you’re new to this ‘life group’ thing or a veteran, there’s a group ready to welcome you. We have groups for men, women, couples, singles, and ‘mixed groups’ where men and women, both singles and couples are welcome. 

Even though all Life Groups are not the same, how groups spend their time is similar to one another. There is time spent hanging out and connecting with each other, time for discussion and reflection surrounding the group Bible study and time spent in prayer and care for one another. Being in a Life Group is about being a part of authentic community with others. Everyone in the group has an opportunity to grow at their own pace by sharing with and hearing from others in their group.
